Incredible Creatures That Defy Evolution

Science can be so fascinating! Probably my favorite topic in science is zoology. I am amazed at what allows a gecko to walk upside down on something as smooth as glass. I love knowing what keeps a giraffe’s brains from being blown out by extreme blood pressure, when it bends down for a drink of water and its blood travels with gravity instead of against gravity. Ostriches are big, but can they be dangerous? Yes, even a lion better watch out! So many people love horses, and they have some very special features that possibly not all horse-lovers know about. Dogs (certain dogs) are among my favorite animals. Besides being lovable and cute, dogs have some amazing abilities, such as some being able to know that a tornado is coming and then alert people of it.

Dr. Jobe Martin was an evolutionist and later on became a creationist. In these three DVDs he talks about the amazing designs of many different kinds of animals and emphasizes that they were designed. If a giraffe had not been ready-made by a Creator, then partway through the evolutionary process certain functions would be only partway developed. This would be deadly for the giraffe even when it did something so simple as getting a drink of water. Besides that, the functions and abilities of these animals can only make sense if someone very smart put them all together.

The information in these DVDs is not only fascinating, but so important and helpful! This kind of information confirms that our faith is a reasonable faith! Believing in God, and believing that He made the world, is completely reasonable. Our belief is founded on fact and not fairy tales. Yes, God expects us to trust Him even when we don’t understand things, but our trust is founded on truth and fact…the truth of the Bible and the trustworthiness of God. The design of animals is one more proof for the existence of a powerful and wise Creator.

Age recommendation: anyone interested in science, with one exception. The only problem I see is if someone who is still in the process of learning the English language (children) might misunderstand what is being said. In these DVDs, the evolutionist’s perspective is sometimes given. It could be helpful to children if a parent made sure that they understand what was being said. The other time those newer to the language might be confused is if sarcasm is used, as children do not always understand sarcasm. The topic of evolution and creation is a very important one, one that the Enemy uses effectively to get people to doubt God and His Word. If you are a younger person reading this, then know that these DVDs are showing how there is a God and it was God who made the animals.
